Overview
• Use Eclipse to write a Java program
that creates your college initials using
Unicode symbols and letters.
Objectives
• Research information about a potential college.
• Construct the initials of the college you select.
• The initials must be created using letters, numbers, and symbols.
• Each initial should be approximately the same size as the flower image shown above.
Directions
After you click on the link below,
you will need to choose a university.
You will need to look up the following information:
your full name, class period, university initials,
enrollment, most popular majors,
distance from Houston, Texas, and acceptance rate.
If the university you want is not listed,
add it to the bottom of the spreadsheet.
However, it MUST have three initials.
Click here to select your university
and fill in the required information.
File Requirements:
• PX_lastname_CollegeInitials.java — your actual Java source code.
• PX_lastname_CollegeInitials.txt — A copy of the Java code in a text file.
• PX_lastname_CollegeInitials.png — a screenshot of your output in your Eclipse IDE.
• PX_lastname_CollegeInitials.mp4 — a short video showing your program running.
